Breaking Down the Holiday Collection: Nordic Lights

Last but not least, meet Nordic Lights—an homage to the chilly but sparkling days and nights of holiday fun!

Growing up in Pennsylvania, I don’t remember too many Christmases that weren’t white. More often than not, it was more a matter of how much snow we had to deal with on Christmas Eve and whether or not it was going to be snowing to hard prevent our neighborhood from lining the sidewalks with candle-lit luminaries. I had no idea how special that tradition was until we moved away!

Now that my whole family lives near Richmond, it may be 80 degrees or 30—or both in the same day! Either way, I long for the chilly snow-filled nights with twinkling lights. At least for a few nights (or weeks) out of the year on Christmas.

To bring a little of that vibe into my home (and yours), this collection is inspired by all that’s cozy, calm, and perhaps a little bit shimmery. Think quiet walks on snow-covered forest paths, drinking hot chocolate by the fire, wrapping presents, and baking cookies!

These pieces are meant to feel a bit more rare and magical. Like the perfect little acorn or pinecone you decided to keep, or the hellebore you discovered blooming in the middle of December.

Here is my crepe paper translation of these winter charms. Nordic Lights features a trio of crepe paper decorative trees, a snow globe, a wreath, a floral bundle, and a bonus item—a tiny treasure-filled keepsake ornament!

This collection just launched, but won’t be around for long. I’m stocking up all of my inventory for the big day, and I start shipping orders as early as next week for those who want to get a head-start on decorating.

More information about timing for orders, shipping deadlines for gifts, and my only upcoming holiday event of the year, is all listed here!
