A new pace (and a new collection) for 2023

The past few years have blurred into one another at a frantic pace. January has hit with one holiday running straight into the next, and my custom order schedule is solidly booked well through the summer months. Frankly, it was a pace I couldn’t continue, so I’m working to course correct this year.

You may notice changes here as I regroup, refocus, and reroute my path. I’m intentionally slowing things down, but my ultimate goal is to allow me more time to create and realize the ideas that have been stewing on the back burner for far too many months (or years!). I also want to do a better job at sharing and enjoying all of the beautiful projects I’ve had the joy of making, and I have a project in the works to help me do just that!

In this spirit, I contemplated forgoing a new collection for Valentine’s Day this year. But let’s be real! It’s the one time of year when everyone is as into pink as I always am! So, as a compromise, I’ve scaled things down a bit, and there won’t be the usual pre-order window this time around. That doesn’t make these pieces any less special, though! Rest assured—they will be worth the short wait!

Introducing the 2023 Valentine’s Day Collection!

What’s new?

As I continued to explore the glorious new colors by Cartotecnica Rossi, I started to think about the meanings behind all of the potential palettes. There are many theories about what specific colors mean and how someone could interpret them in floral gifts. So I had some fun with these concepts in this collection!

If these hues aren’t your cup of tea, I invite you to explore these other options and their meanings for Valentine’s Day!

WHITE & IVORY

White is often used to represent new beginnings or young romances, while shades of ivory and cream are said to symbolize charm, elegance, and thoughtfulness.

YELLOW & ORANGE

Yellow is the color of friendship, while brighter shades of orange represent fascination. Either way, these options are sure to provide a boost of energy and joy to any recipient!

LIGHT PINK

A timeless option, this hue represents innocence and appreciation—a wonderful gift for friends and family members.

DARK PINK

My personal favorite, dark pink, is interpreted as gratitude. Use these options to send your thanks and appreciation.

RED

And, of course, we can’t forget about red on Valentine’s Day. This color represents love, appreciation, and respect. Feel free to send these to anyone you admire this holiday!

One last note!

This new collection is not going to be around for long! I’m doing things differently to help manage my limited production time. All orders, including those designated as gifts, will ship February 6–8. Check the calendar for more details.

Please take a peek at the new pieces and let me know what you think! I hope you enjoy the new collection as much as I loved making it. Here’s to the start of an exciting new year!

All the best!
